These Terms cover the website and our free services. Paid advisory work begins only when you accept our Client Advisory & Success-Linked Fee Agreement, which then governs the engagement, the fees and the success-linked fee. If these Terms and your signed Agreement differ, the Agreement prevails.

Fees shown on our pricing page are our standard framework. The fee that applies to you is the one recorded in your signed Agreement and its Schedule A.

The EduSail Abroad PhD Readiness Score is a free, provisional assessment based on the answers you enter. It is a guide to your profile strength and your likely commitment-fee band.

• Your score and fee band are confirmed only after our team reviews your profile and documents, and are recorded in writing in your Agreement.
• The score is not a prediction or guarantee of admission, funding, supervisor acceptance or visa approval.
• Please answer accurately. A score based on incorrect answers may change after review.

Our AI assistant answers general questions about PhD study abroad and our services, using our published knowledge base. It identifies itself as an AI assistant.

• Its replies are general information, not personalised professional, legal, financial or immigration advice.
• Automated replies can occasionally be incomplete or out of date. Our mentors confirm the details that matter on your discovery call.
• Nothing the assistant says creates, changes or waives a fee, discount, deadline or other commercial term. Commercial terms are agreed only in writing in your Agreement.

Our articles, country pages, university pages and guides describe universities, PhD programmes, scholarships, stipends, deadlines, visa rules and fees set by third parties. We research this information carefully, but these organisations can change their requirements at any time.

• Stipends, fees and costs we quote are approximate and may vary by university, programme, year and exchange rate.
• Before you apply or make a payment, confirm requirements, deadlines and fees on the official university, funder or government website.
• Listings of PhD positions, scholarships or deadlines are shared for information. Applications, selection and funding decisions rest with the relevant university or funder.
• Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Those websites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

When you take the PhD Readiness Score, submit a form or book a discovery call, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email or WhatsApp about your enquiry and our services. You can ask us to stop at any time by writing to [email protected]. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

The discovery call is free and does not commit you to anything. A paid engagement begins only when you accept the Agreement.

When using the website and our free services, you agree to:

• provide accurate information about yourself and your academic background;
• use the website only for lawful, personal purposes connected with your own studies;
• not impersonate another person or submit information on someone else’s behalf without their permission;
• not copy, scrape or bulk-download our content, or use automated tools to access the website in a way that disrupts it; and
• not attempt to interfere with the website’s security or operation.

The website and its content, including articles, guides, the PhD Readiness Score and its scoring method, design, text, graphics and the EduSail Abroad name and logo, belong to EduSail Abroad or its licensors.

You may read, share links to and print our content for your own non-commercial use. Reproducing, republishing or selling our content, or presenting it as your own, requires our written permission.

Admission, funding, supervisor and visa decisions are made by universities, funders, supervisors and immigration authorities. Neither the website nor any of our free services guarantees a particular outcome.

The website and our free services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, EduSail Abroad is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website, the PhD Readiness Score, the AI assistant or third-party information and websites, or from decisions taken without confirming details with the official source.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Changes to these Terms do not alter a signed Agreement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable right you have under applicable law, the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. Disputes under a signed Agreement follow the dispute procedure in that Agreement.
